Privacy policy
Petals is designed as a quiet personal focus tool. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Petals stores the tasks, categories, session history, streaks, awards, theme choices, and premium state needed to run the app. This information is used to show your focus history and keep the app working across launches.
Where available, Petals may use iCloud key-value storage to sync tasks, stats, theme choices, and premium status between devices signed in to the same Apple ID. Petals also stores local app data on your device and may use an App Group so the home screen widget can display current task information.
Premium purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Petals receives purchase entitlement information from Apple so premium features can be unlocked. Petals does not receive or store your full payment card details.
If you allow notifications, Petals schedules local session-complete notifications on your device. Notification permission can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.
If you contact support through this website or by email, we use the information you provide to respond to your request. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is needed for support.
Petals is intended to be minimal and respectful. If analytics or crash reporting tools are added, this policy should be updated to name those services and describe the data they process.
For privacy questions, contact us through the Petals support page.
